She is MAgic. That One.
Elise Hurst.
Photography and creative work has always been in my blood. I grew up with a dad who was a full-time photographer and a full time florist. Not only was I the subject of many his photography classes, but he also taught me (and continues to) the love of this art form and all the skill that comes with it! Now I love to weave together motherhood stories all the way from your bump to your arms full of children! I was constantly helping in the floral shop and creating worlds of my own in the shop using cardboard, paint, or whatever else I could get my hands on.
I am married to Josh and we have 4 beautiful children all born in different settings, states, and even different countries! We moved back from Indonesia at the end of 2020, and our hearts, minds, and souls are forever changed because of our experience.
I am a type-7 on the enneagram and fit the mold perfectly as I am definitely a ‘Jack of all trades, master of none.’ I have my masters in speech-language pathology and my certification as a DONA doula. I paint commissions typically watercolor, but I love oil and acrylic as well. I am a chess coach at Miller Elementary and coach my kids in whatever sport they may need a coach - baseball, soccer, basketball, etc.... I play co-ed softball and volleyball when I can find the time and join the leagues. I love my CrossFit community at Flatland Crossfit and am learning tennis and pickleball alongside my kiddos. I am an avid reader/audiobook listener - I am listening to a book 90% of the time when I’m alone and editing or painting. I like to try new things and eat as many foods from different cultures as possible. My husband is the director of the Wesley at Texas Tech. All four of my kids go to Miller Elementary so I am up there ALOT as a chairman of PTA, volunteering, or continually bringing my kids items they forgot at home! Just a regular mom living in a chaotic world looking to create some magical art - may that be photography or another form. I hope I get to create some art for you!

Meet my little birds

Shepherd is 11 years old in 5th grade and loves playing any and every team sport. He is obsessed with Star Wars, Historical fiction & non-fiction, and anything to do with nerf guns/military/army men.

Judah is 9 years old in 3rd grade and loves soccer. He loves nature, exploring, doing all sorts of flips on the couch, skate boarding, pokemon cards, and scouring the neighborhood to play with all his buddies.

River is 7 years old in first grade and loves being in ballet and tap as well as soccer. She is obsessed with baby-dolls, hot Cheetos, and white rice - no lie. (LOL I did not even have to update this section since she was 4yo!)

August is 5 years old in Kinder and wants to be playing sports at all times. He practices and refines his skills in whatever he is interested in at the time - baseball, basketball, riding his banana skateboard, etc... He is a tiny nugget but he is quite the athlete!
